You Can’t Out Give God

God doesn’t want something from you; He wants something for you. More than you could ask for or imagine, in fact. And we do, too. We want you to be financially free.

Why Do We Give?

We believe the top competitor for our devotion to Jesus is money (Matthew 6:24). Giving allows us to demonstrate that He is more important to us than material things.

We believe you can’t outgive God, so when you’re trusting Him with your tithes and offerings we know that He will bless the rest (Proverbs 3:9-10 and Malachi 3:10-12).

We think Christians should be the most generous people (2 Corinthians 9:6) on earth to support worthy causes, and there is no organization with more potential to change the world than the local church (Ephesians 3:10)!

Why Tithing and Offering?

A tithe – which scriptually means “tenth” (or a Shekel) – is defined as the first 10% of a person’s income that is to be given back to God through the local church. An offering – which scriptually means fifth” (or a Half-Shekel) is defined as the first 5% of a person’s income that is given back to God through the local church. Tithing and offering are principles that are taught throughout the entire Bible. When we give our tithe and offering, we are expressing worship in a tangible way by putting God first in our lives.
Bringing our tithes and offerings is an opportunity for us to give God our thanks, show God we trust Him, and fight against greed in our hearts…all while allowing us to be a part of the most important work in life that is spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ!
